New this year! While it may be a work in progress, we are very excited to begin building a garden to teach research-based gardening. The plans are to create a vegetable garden and an area for water wise plantings.
Master Gardeners are responsible for the Kiosk bed on the south side of the river off Bridge street in Las Vegas as part of this dynamic community project. Several of our Las Vegas MG members are key volunteers and board members planning and implementing this project.
Master Gardener’s help NMSU Specialist with classes online or in person by offering mentoring of new interns, arranging classrooms, and any other details for class success.

Master Gardeners teach a six class beginning gardening class for those new to gardening. This program is free of charge through a partnership between NMSU’s ICAN, SNAP-Ed, and the USDA.
